I did it!

Yeah for me! I did it! I figured out how to add a photo. I will be posting the rest of the vacation pictures on ofoto.com later so if you want to see more...you can go there!

Cozumel

Ok-ok-ok...Here it is! I FINALLY am making the time to sit down and write about our trip! It's killing me because I should be cleaning the kitchen (I still have bowls of frosting to clean after making Brynn's birthday cake), but oh well! Life's too short!
We were lucky enough this summer to take a family vacation to Cozumel. My brother-in-law, Brad, is turning 40 this year and he and his family were going to Cozumel so they extended the invite to whomever wanted to come and help him celebrate. There ended up being about 40 people that went! It was awesome! The water was beautiful, the weather was GREAT (except for some humidity) and the experience was priceless! I have never been to Cozumel so it was an experience in itself. The resort had a lot to do for the kids so we were lucky that way too! Matthew spent the whole time in the water. Luke took it all in and just loved being outside a lot. I loved relaxing by the pool, drinking a few Pina Colada's (they were basically virgin ones) and some Blue Hawaiian drinks. TJ snorkeled, tried to get some sun on his white belly and drank lots and lots of beer! My Mom and TJ's Mom and her boyfriend, Bob, went too. We loved spending time with them all and then catching up with the others after they got done suba diving and such.
One day TJ, Matt, and I went to see some Mayan Ruins, called Chitzen Itza. Not sure if I spelled it right, but I remember it from someone telling me that their tour guide called it Chicken Pizza...therefore, I can remember the name! Crazy I know! I will attempt to add some pictures here, but if I don't get them up I will have my friend, Amanda, come over and tutor me on how to get them up! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to update this again soon! School will be starting in a couple of weeks so I might get back into a routine soon!

What a Storm

We had quite the monsoon storm tonight. I worked a little late tonight so I could leave on vacation next week and be somewhat caught up. Luke was at my Mom's, Matt and TJ were at Matt's football camp. I called at 7:30ish and TJ was just leaving the camp. I asked him to go and get Luke (who was playing with Grandma on the patio in the rain). He said he had to go that it was raining. It was just starting to rain at the office when I was leaving. As I got off the freeway and was dring down Ellsworth I saw my life flash before my eyes! It was the SCARIEST car ride home. It was raining so hard I couldn't see out the windows AT ALL and Ellsworth road has so many dips in it that filled up so fast with water. I couldn't see anything around me because it was so dark. There were a couple of times I was afraid I was going to be on the news crying that my car was stuck and I was getting a ticket for that Stupid Motorist thing! So I decided to follow this huge Tahoe or something. If the water was way high on his car I knew I shouldn't go. Luckily I got home, but TJ & the boyz were not! So what does a Watson/Warin girl do???? Worry!!! I called Mom and TJ and Matt had stopped by the Game store (that's another posting at a different time) and was on his way to get Luke. I asked Mom to call me when they left...well she didn't and at 9:00 I called and she said they left a while ago. Again what does a Watson/Warin girl do???? Worry! I call TJ and he had been detoured off Power and went down a side street to come home...not a good idea. It's dark out here and he got pushed off the road by the waters or something and almost went into a ditch. He finally made it home too, but we all hugged each other A LOT when they got home! I haven't seen a monsoon like this one in years!

When TJ got home the rain was letting up and we went into our back yard and the water was up past my ankles. We looked out over the fence (where the wash is) and there was a running stream of water. It sounds just like a stream back there. We are trying to take pictures, but since it is so dry here, I bet it will be gone before morning when we can take a picture.

If you are still reading this post....#1 I'm impressed you read it all and #2 We love you! Tell everyone close to you that you love them because you never know what can happen!

Relaxing at the OC

Brad and Steph built a cabin last year and we were lucky enough to go and use it over the 4th of July this year. Brad's parents have had a cabin in Greer for years and it has been referred to as "The cabin". Therefore, I have heard Steph refer to their cabin as the OC, "Our Cabin". Not sure if they still call it that, but it is kind of catchy!
Matt and TJ went fishing, and Luke and I hung out at the cabin in our jammies alllllll day! I was going through some pictures and thought this little video was funny and I wanted to see if I could figure out how to add a video now. Now that I have this thing down you might get sick of all my postings. I have some old things that I wanted to share especially for my Mother-in-law who lives in Ohio and want to keep her updated on the AZ boyz! Enjoy! This is how Luke eats sometimes...I thought it was because he is part puppy, but I think he is just showing some traits of being a boy...laziness! :-) Just kidding! Well kind of!
